Description

In the summer of 2004, I enrolled in one of the New York Film Academy's 4-week filmmaking camps. I shot, directed, and edited 3 films during my time there, and worked on 8 additional films as Director of Photography (DP in the credits), Assistant Camera (AC), or Gaffer. It was very stressful, and very fun. This film - Stuck - was my final project. I had only a day to shoot, and only 15 minutes of 16mm film to use. And of course, there could be no recorded audio.

I am very happy with the way this turned out. I am pleased with the plot, the music, and the overall feel of the film. The storyline, although simple, was strong (at least compared to some of my other stuff), but practical for a film with such strict limitations. The overexposure of the film was unintentional, but I think I like the effect.
