Okay, whatever you do, don't turn this off mid-way through. It's worth it in the end.

I came up with this story only an hour or so before I had to shoot. I was banging my head against the wall with ideas. I called my dad to brainstorm, and he wasn't helpful. So I was scrolling through my iTunes library, frantically playing random tracks. I happened to listen to "Hungarian Dance No. 7", by Brahms. It had such an interesting and playful melody, and a very distinctive ending...

So yes, this movie, from beginning to end, was inspired by that song. The plot is very very very simple, but I think it works. The reaction to the film at one of the screenings at the NYFA was just awesome. People laughed out loud! In general, I'm rather ambivalent about this film because it's not very interesting until the end. But whatever. I hope you like it.
