Best Work

In Dire Need

In March 2008 I made a 30-second PSA for a national contest focused on disaster relief with my friend Roque. It took me about 3 weeks to make-- the entire environment is CG. Hope you like it!

The Disappearing Act 1/08

My friend and I were finalists for this year's Coca Cola Refreshing Filmmakers Award! We wrote and directed this 50-second film for the contest over a period of three months. We were given a budget of $7,500 to make the film. With support from SCAD, we stayed in Savannah over the winter break to shoot the film. I'm extremely happy with how it came out!

Suburban Plight 8/06

This is one of my best movies so far. It took me almost two years to finish- shooting and reshooting, developing the cg elements, editing and animating, etc.. I'm really happy with the way it turned out, and above all, I'm just glad it's finally finished!

Not as Good Work

Game Day

1/08

This is a film I made with some friends for my lighting and field class this quarter. The main goal of the project was to experiment with lighting and gain some experience on set. It was shot on 16mm over a three-day weekend.

Ping-Pong Hustler 9/07

Finally an update! This is a film I made during this summer with my new XH-A1. It's a project that would be both fun to work on and good practice for me. I hope you enjoy it! More films to come, I hope.

Shadows 1/06

This is an abstract short film about shadows and the passage of time, edited to some cool atmospheric music.

Did you know? 12/05

This is a text animation project I did for my Telemedia class, which presents statistics, asks questions, and denounces the entire human race.

Sanguine 10/05

If you haven't been here before, don't click this.

I'm just putting it up to show that I have, in fact, been working on something this past year. There's a lot in the pipeline, folks. This particular movie was done for an assignment.

Mechanical Mayhem Theatrical Trailer 10/04

For the better part of a year I worked continually on the movie, "Mechanical Mayhem". Well, I decided to scrap the project, because the plot is weak and the effects are taking entirely too much time. So, instead of losing all my work, I made a trailer, showcasing some of my best visual effects to date.

Driving Lesson 8/04

This is a short film I made during the summer of 2004, using my new GL-2. My brother Alex did most of the shooting, for the first time. I directed, and edited. And acted, with my Dad. It was made in just a couple of days. We decided to make it a silent film midway, because our dialogue and acting was just bad.

Stuck 7/04

This is definitely one of my best films. And it was actually shot on film. This movie, and the two below it, were made during a 4-week summer program at the New York Film Academy. This was my final project. I'm very proud of this one, so definitely give it a look.

Declaration of Love 7/04

This is another short film made at the NYFA. I'm kinda ambivalent about this movie. It really has no plot. But I like the end, and the music, a lot. My audiences have mixed reactions too. But I think it's worth the watch...

Meter Mishap 7/04

This is the first real "film" I've ever done. The assignment was to create a short scene or story with visual continuity-- angles, actions, cuts, and setting should be consistant throughout.

Time and Time Again 5/04

Somewhat similar in concept to "A Step Ahead", this movie was made as my first project in my filmmaking class. The project involved audio recording with an external mic and some fun visual effects.

A Step Ahead 11/03

A very short film about a guy who just wants to make some soup.

School Projects

Projectile Motion 12/04

I spent a good deal of time on this movie for my Physics class, with my good friend Jon Jordan. Anywhoo, It's got some nifty time-stopping effects. This is without a doubt my best school project.
